Susan was born in Kansas City, Kansas while her family attended Central Baptist Seminary and was raised in Japan and Okinawa where they served as Southern Baptist Convention missionaries. Susan earned a bachelor of science at Winthrop University.

Susan has two children, Megan Morton, a teacher at Covenant Day School in Matthews and Chris Tuttle, who serves in the US Coast Guard in Mobile, AL. She also has two grandchildren, Cade and Kaylee.

Susan has been serving at PMBC since January 1991.


 

What is your favorite Bible verse?

Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.”

What books have you read recently?

The Trouble with Boys by Peg Tyre and Same Kind of Different As Me by Ron Hall and Denver Moore.

What do you do to relax and find balance in your life?

I go to my families’ mountain retreat on Roan Mt. in Mitchell County and marvel at God’s handiwork.

What are some other things you enjoy doing?

I enjoy scrapbooking, traveling, visiting with my grandchildren and laughing at the antics of our West Highland Terrier, Sophie
