Pritchard Memorial Baptist Child Development Center ~ 704.343.2944

Pricthard provides Christian love and care for the preschool child in our church and the community. Using The Creative Curriculum we provide learning opportunities through play, the natural way children learn.

Our Goals

  1. To enable children to feel successful in their environment.
  2. To aid children in learning to understand and live intelligently in God’s world.
  3. To teach children to manage themselves, their materials and daily routine.
  4. To facilitate steady growth through providing adequate space, freedom of movement and needed equipment.
  5. To protect children from hazards to health and safety.
  6. To help children develop social skills.
  7. To encourage children to take initiative in planning and doing things.
  8. To allow children to achieve all the proceeding and to hear about God’s love in a Christian environment

Enrollment

Children are accepted from six weeks of age through five year olds. For current enrollment and fee information contact the CDC Director, Susan Tuttle. The center accepts children for all races, color, sex and national origin.

We believe that a developmentally appropriate learning environment benefits all children. Including typically development children and children with special needs enhances learning for everyone. Working as a team of parents, teachers, clinicians and children, our goal is to server each child, helping them reach their full potential.

Staff

All lead teachers have a NC Early Childhood Education Credential. Teachers are encouraged to have or pursue college level training in early childhood education.

Nutrition

A nutritious morning snack, a hot lunch, and an afternoon snack are provided.

Special Activities

Families may choose from several extra-curricular activities in which to enroll their children, including CyberKids, Play-Spanish, and Stretch ‘n Gros. Threes and Fours have opportunities to participate in off-campus field trips.

Licensing

Pritchard CDC operates as a faith based ministry in the state of North Carolina.
